All oils made using a "high potency" process called intermediary oil. Plants are first soaked in a small quantity of grain alcohol for 6-24 hours and then submerged in oil. After steeping for 4-6 weeks the oil is strained and alcohol is gently heated off. This process makes a much stronger, richer oil, often a deep green color. Oil is not a great solvent for most consistuents where as alcohol is a great extractor; hence using alcohol as an intermediary step.
